The Morecambe Festival of Running is one of Lancaster Race Series' most popular autumn events. Starting and finishing at Heysham Cricket Club, runners head out along the flat promenade on a fast and scenic coastal course. With 5K, 10K and 10 Mile options available, the event welcomes both experienced runners and newcomers alike. The route follows Morecambe Bay's famous seafront, providing excellent views throughout. All races start at 11:00am and finish back at the cricket club, creating a great atmosphere for runners, spectators and families. Prizes are awarded to leading male and female finishers, with additional prizes subject to entry numbers.
