The Calder Lodge 10 Mile & 6K Fun Run takes place on Sunday 25th October 2026, starting from Victoria Terrace, Calder Vale, Preston (PR3 1SJ). This new event welcomes runners of all abilities — from complete beginners to seasoned veterans — with two distances to choose from.

Both races start together at 11:00am. The 6K Fun Run loops through the village and woodland, while the 15K continues around the scenic local lanes, offering a challenging but rewarding route through the rolling hills of Calder Vale.

All finishers receive a goodie bag including a t‑shirt and race medal, and prizes are awarded to the top 3 male and female runners as well as veteran categories. The event is fully marked and marshalled, with toilets, bag drop, and refreshments available at the village hall.
