About the Event

The Riverside Half Marathon & 10K take runners along one of Lancaster’s most attractive running routes. Starting at the George & Dragon on the newly revamped Lancaster Quay, the course heads onto the Lune Estuary footpath — a flat, fast stretch with wide-open views of the Lune Valley.

The Half Marathon offers both a medal and a T‑shirt for all finishers, while 10K runners receive a medal. The event welcomes runners of all abilities, from first‑timers to experienced athletes looking for a scenic summer race. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers.

As part of the Lancaster Races series, this event delivers a friendly atmosphere, reliable organisation, and a beautiful riverside setting.
