About the Event
The New Longton 10K & 1 Mile Family Fun Run takes place on Sunday 14th March 2027, hosted at New Longton All Saints Primary School, Hugh Barn Lane, Preston. This welcoming village event offers a great atmosphere for both club runners and families.
The 10K race starts at 10:00am, following a road route around New Longton and the surrounding lanes. The 1 Mile Family Fun Run begins at 9:30am, perfect for children, parents, and newcomers to running.
Both events award medals to all finishers, and the 10K includes a full prize list for senior and veteran runners, plus team prizes. With a supportive community feel and an accessible venue, it’s an ideal early‑season race for runners of all abilities.
